Seattle to San Francisco - Log #02# (Portland, Oregon)

Just 10 minutes into Portland spark plugs defaulted and the engine's second cylinder stopped working.

With only one cylinder working, an average speed of 10 km/h and a terrible noise coming from the engine managed to drive into Brown's service shop.

Gene Brown, whom I found on the Net,is a grumpy old tart but prominent motorcycle buff. He replaced two of the four spark plugs and I was set to go.

Gene Brown was an avid motorcycle rider professionally racing up until his 40s.
